翌年Frank Sinatraが取り上げ歌っていますが、他のボーカリストにはあまり歌われることのない曲かと思われます。
アメリカのジャズボーカリストCalabria Foti がなんとも柔らかに歌っている物を聴き、一目（耳）惚れ！すぐに「私も歌いた～ぃ」と、歌い始めた曲。
曲名「A Lovely way to spend an evening」は「素敵な夜の過ごし方」と訳されていました。まさにそんな素敵な夜に聴くのにピッタリな曲♪
